Natural Rush Christmas Reindeer

These chunky, rustic Christmas Reindeer are made from rush which is harvested each year from the River Isle in Somerset.

The rush grows in slow moving rivers and have for centuries been put to use by man for many purposes, from floor coverings, hats, rush seating and basketmaking.

Taken from a traditional straw design, originally from Scandinavia – they look great as tree or swag decorations or could even be added to a Christmas stocking.

These items are hand made and variations in colour and size will occur.
